It’s with mixed emotions that we announce Bonnie’s last day at Boggio Pharmacy in Port Colborne! 😢

Bonnie started working at Boggio Pharmacy as a pharmacy assistant at the age of 19. Over the past 28 years she became a Registered Pharmacy Technician with the Ontario College of Pharmacists and has worked her way up to our lead technician and packaging room manager role. She was instrumental in helping us grow from a single pharmacy operation with 20 employees in Port Colborne to 7 locations and 180 employees across the Niagara Region. Her expertise and work ethic has rippled through the organization in many ways and has helped many of our patients and staff at all of our pharmacies in one way or another. Most recently she was directly involved with our Covid and flu vaccination campaigns coordinating over 12000 vaccinations to the residents of Port Colborne. She was also directly involved in operationalizing and managing our central fill operation out of Port Colborne where we prepare thousands of blister packages for all of our sister pharmacies throughout Niagara. Needless to say we wouldn’t be where we are today as an organization without Bonnie!

Bonnie plans to start an exciting new life across the country with her family. We know she will be successful in whatever position she finds herself in and we wish her the best of luck in her next chapter! Thank you for all you have done to help us get to where we are today!
