Rachel Skerrett is a registered psychologist in Ontario and Alberta. Client groups served in both provinces include: children, adolescents, adults, and families.
Rachel is a member of the Ontario Psychological Association, The Ontario Association of Psychological Associates, The Canadian Psychological Association, and the International Society for Neurofeedback and Research. She is listed on the Canadian Register of Health Psychologists. She is a member of Chi Sigma Iota and Psi Chi. Rachel provides expert opinion to the Ontario Superior Court of Justice on matters within her area of expertise.
Rachel has been the director of Skerrett Psychology Professional Corporation since January 2011. Her prior work experience took place in private practice, hospital, agency, and school settings. Currently, she supervises staff, provides consultation, conducts presentations, and provides direct service to clients.
Rachel is also a doctoral student completing her dissertation at Grand Canyon University. Her research interests involve: neural network and executive function weaknesses common to ADHD and PTSD, measurement of these weaknesses via QEEG and performance tasks, and the effect of cranial electrotherapy stimulation (CES) on the default mode network (DMN), and auditory and visual attention.
