It’s a moment to honour survivors of residential schools, and to reflect on how we can support healing and resilience in our communities. But reconciliation goes beyond September 30, it's about ongoing learning, listening and action.

Beyond wearing orange, here are some ways you can show your support:

🔶 Take a quiet moment of reflection on September 30
🔶Join a local event in your community
🔶 Learn from Elders about traditional healing and smudging practices
🔶 Read and share resources on the history of residential schools
🔶Share resources and open conversations about reconciliation in your circles
🔶Support Indigenous-led initiatives

If you feel the need to talk to someone, the 𝗪𝗶̂𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗵𝗶̂𝘄𝗮̂𝘂𝘄𝗶𝗻 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝟮𝟰/𝟳 𝗮𝘁 𝟭-𝟴𝟯𝟯-𝟲𝟯𝟮-𝟰𝟯𝟱𝟳. The service is adapted to your needs, with Cree speakers and traditional healers available.

Healing is part of health, and reconciliation is a shared responsibility.

👉 And you: What is your personal commitment to reconciliation?
