☀️ 𝗛𝗼𝘁 𝘄𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗪𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆 ☀️

High temperatures are back in Eeyou Istchee, and that means we all need to take care, especially our Elders, young children, and those with health conditions.

☀️ Here’s how to stay safe in the heat over the coming days:
💧 Stay hydrated
🧼 Take cool showers or place wet cloths on your neck and wrists
😎 Wear loose, light clothing
✅Apply sunscreen 15 minutes before going outside
🏖️ Find shade or go inside during the hottest hours (11 a.m. – 4 p.m.)

⚠️ Listen to your body: headaches, dizziness, or nausea can be signs of heat illness!
Check in on your loved ones and neighbours. Let’s take care of one another.
