A sneak peak of what's coming next month!

This 90 minute session will combine a personal 3 card Tarot reading alongside a fully supported, restorative Yoga class, giving you space to reset physically, mentally and emotionally.

Is Pilates good for people with injuries and past surgeries?

If you ask Natasha, you’ll get a resounding YES.👌

Before her first class, Natasha was hesitant. Many other workouts had seriously aggravated past injuries and surgeries, and she worried Pilates would be the same.

Luckily, she quickly realized she had found something she could do day after day—without the crippling pain that came with high-impact exercise.

Since starting in October, she’s noticed a huge difference in how she feels and moves. Ellipticals, treadmills and anything with impact caused major pain in her knees and hips after multiple surgeries and replacements.

Now her workouts build strength, flexibility and confidence—without adding stress to her body. She also used to visit the chiropractor several times a week for low back pain, and hasn’t needed to go since starting Pilates.

“I had zero experience prior. It was easy to follow as a beginner, and there are always alternatives if you’re not strong enough or flexible yet.

Pilates is everything I have been looking for in a workout. It's definitely challenging at times but the more I continue to do it the better and stronger I am getting. I was hooked after the first class."

What's her advice to others thinking about trying it?

"I would say that it's extremely inclusive of all body types, strength and flexibility levels. There are so many different classes to fit your needs and you can go at any pace so there is no stress of being rushed or falling behind. As someone who has suffered some major injuries in her life its extremely doable and I would encourage anyone to try it out."

To round out International Women's Day we want to give a huge shout out to the community for coming together once again to support a great cause.

A couple months back, Matt () said he'd like to donate 3 (90min!)Rocket Yoga Classes in support of . Why Waypoints? Besides the Important work they do, Matt knew that the last class would fall on International Women's Day and he thought that was very fitting.

We agreed.

After the third and final class for Waypoints today, we are proud to say that all of your $10 donations to take this class have totaled $750! You are all so awesome! Special shout out to those who donated to the bin and those who chipped in some extra, including Aileen, Kendra and more - whose names escape memory right now. 😌

And that, my friends, is how you go from not being able to touch your toes two years ago to building a powerful blend of flexibility, strength, mobility, and injury prevention that will support you for years to come.

Not to mention the improved outlook on life and stress reduction that comes from spending 900 hours in an infrared heated room focusing on your breath, movement, and self-improvement under the guidance of some of the best instructors in Alberta… and the results speak for themselves.

Well done, AJ! That might be the fastest climb to 900 classes we’ve ever seen.

And he did it while working full-time shift work on site. 💪

He’s already setting his sights on 1000 classes—which he figures will happen in the next three months. We’ll see you then!

This is the first time we’re offering this class at the studio and we’re so excited to share it with you! Expect Amanda’s magical crystal bowls to close out the experience.
