OK, my plant enthusiasts, we have a planter full of these things that we uncovered in an old garden. The bulb smells like an onion, but I have never seen an onion grow a top like this.
Ideas?

So excited! We have the go ahead to start doing foot care again. I will only be taking one client a day in the evenings. This way I will ensure that no one gets ill. I will definitely be wearing a mask and gloves the entire time I am in your home. So glad to be back in business! Please call to make an appointment.

I am missing my clients so very much! Some of you truly feel more like friends. When I get the go ahead from Alberta health that it is safe to go in and out of peoples homes again I will be practising once more. In the meantime, please stay safe, use the files I gave you and watch for any signs of infection. For my diabetic clients, if you have any infected toenails or ulcers you need to get to the hospital for care. I will see you all soon!

I am missing my clients as i keep from spreading Covid-19. Please my friends, use the foot files i gave you if you can and use lotion if you can. I am sure family could help. Once we are clear from this epidemic i will be back to take care of your needs. Stay safe!

Sometimes you need to do feet a bit at a time due to client tolerance or intolerance as the case may be. Today we got 3/4 finished with a new client. He says he feels so much better! It took 2.5 hours but the conversation was wonderful! Thanks for giving me permission to post!

I have recently had a rash of calls for what people thought were ingrown toenails causing an infection. Upon examination, there were no ingrown toenail but you could see where there was a nick in the skin which caused the infection. Three of them were from having pedicures at a facility that does not clean instruments between clients. Please people, insist on new emery boards, a brand new bit on the end of the Dremel etc. Take care of yourself!
