Glyphosate is toxic to children and adults. Banned in other countries but still used in North America. 😩
🌱 I remember the moment glyphosate stopped being an abstract word and became personal.
It was late, The house was so quiet.
My poor son had finally fallen asleep after another day hrll with him itching, spiralling, struggling to regulate his body.
I was standing in the kitchen holding a box of food I trusted it was food I had bought because it was familiar. Because it was marketed as safe.
💔 And I realised the problem was not my child.
It was what was feeding him.
☠️ Glyphosate is sprayed on crops as a drying agent.
Not to nourish.
Not to protect.
To speed up profit.
It does not disappear when the box is sealed.
It follows the grain.
It follows the sugar.
It follows the snack.
Oreo.
Goldfish.
Pita chips.
Crackers labelled organic.
⚠️ This is the part no one explains to parents.
🧠 Glyphosate chelates minerals. The very minerals a child’s nervous system needs to calm, speak, focus, heal skin, digest food, regulate behaviour.
When minerals are stripped away, the body does not just adapt. It destabilises.
🔥 Inflammation rises, The gut weakens, The brain struggles and the immune system stays on edge.
🩺 So when a child melts down, scratches until they bleed, cannot find their words, cannot settle in their body, the system calls it behavioural. Genetic. Developmental.
⏳ I was told to wait.
🛑 But I watched what happened when I stopped ignoring the load and started removing it.
Not by suppressing symptoms. By reducing what was poisoning the terrain.
🌿 The shift was slow but undeniable, Less inflammation. Calmer skin.
A nervous system that could finally exhale, Words that came more easily because his body was no longer fighting a constant chemical assault.
🧩 Glyphosate is not benign. It is not neutral. And children are not small adults who can just cope.
👁️ If your intuition is whispering that something in your child’s world is not right, listen. That whisper is wisdom.
❤️ Children are not failing.
Their bodies are responding.
