Building Global Connections: Hines Health Services Inc. in the GCC

Our first trip to the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) was nothing short of inspiring as we embarked on a journey through Dubai, Dammam, and Riyadh for the Global Health Exhibition - ملتقى الصحة العالمي.

Throughout the trip, we had the privilege of connecting with visionary leaders shaping the future of healthcare across the region. A highlight was our meeting with the CEO Dr. Howard Podolsky MD JD MBA FCLM and COO Mr. Al Anazi of Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH) to discuss Vision 2030 and emerging opportunities.

We also met Kharsan M. Al Makhalas & Joe Coughlan from Health Holding, whose pioneering work in mass-casualty technology, mobile response units, and motorcycle-based emergency systems exemplifies how innovation can redefine how and where care is delivered.

What stood out most was the pace and ambition of healthcare transformation across the GCC, from major investments in AI and digital health to large-scale infrastructure modernization. The energy, vision, and commitment to improving care delivery are truly remarkable.

At Hines Health Services, we remain dedicated to our mission of providing excellence in health services and contributing positively to local and global communities. The GCC’s bold vision for the future of health resonates deeply with our purpose and we’re proud to be part of that journey.
