▪️Somatics regulates your nervous system, increasing flexibility, mobility and reduces and manages pain. ▪️Easy to do movements. All done Laying comfortably on a yoga mat.

▪️What you need and to prepare:
•Bring a Yoga mat.
•2 pillows( can be small). & blanket if you want to but don’t need it.
•Wear loose, comfortable clothing.
•Be able to Lie down on the floor.
•Put all distractions away(phones shut off), so you can focus.
▪️How to Focus:
•While doing your movements, focus on your internal sensations.
•Closing your eyes can help you focus and sense with your Soma( your body).
Move
•Slowly and Gently
•Do not force or strain
•Completely relax between each movement
•At least three times each
▪️Self-Regulate
•The movements SHOULD NOT BE PAINFUL!
•Take care of yourself and take breaks when you need to.
