WEEK #3 of the Nak'azdli's Nutrition Challenge continues!!
Post a photo to show us your balanced meal of carbs, fats, and protien!
Examples!
Protiens: generally meat sources such as eggs, fish, chicken, turkey, pork, beef, beef, tofu
Carbs: whole grain bread, oatmeal, pasta, rice, and vegtables! There are startchy vegtables like peas, beans, corn, potatoes, squash and there are non startchy vegtables like peppers, green beans, tomatoes, greens, carrots, brocolli - You can combine the startchy and non starchy souces for a varitey of vitmains and minerals!
Fats: Avocado, olives, nuts like almonds/peacan, peanuts, butter, salad dressing, avocado oil, peanut oil, olive oil
You can combine all of these to make a soup, casseroles, sandwich or even a pizza! Have fun!
