A male friend of mine who would like to find a compatable life partner was recently sharing his experience with trying to date in a small town. Each time he is talking with a woman the women in his life will say ewe no and shut down his explorations of the connection with their negative perceptions of these dating prospects because of some judgements they hold from their past.
As I sat with this i pondered how many people have locked me in time as a hell no because of my past, because let’s be honest I’ve been a HELL NO as I’m sure we all have. But if we allow that to dirty our perceptions of others and our self we are just locking ourselves in a prison of the past.
Our past is there as a catalyst for growth and evolution, not to trap us or others.
The lense we perceive others is merely a mirror to show us what needs to be healed within ourselves. We can keep others and ourselves prisoner or we can be free to love and embrace the present as the only time that truly matters.
You are worthy of love and healing no matter the phase of life you’re in, whether that be the mess of our lessons or the beauty of our healing that morphs into sharing the light with others. Each part of your journey is a divine orchestration and we can choose to reject ourselves and others or we can choose to dance✨
