And just like that, our youngest Longevity Care Clinic employee turned one! While we look forward to getting back to our clients, both old and new, our Nurse Practitioner is continuing to enjoy her maternity leave. Brettany is grateful to have the freedom to spend this time in her life focused on her children. We thank you for your ongoing support, kind messages, and check-ins over the past several months.

* Nurse Practitioner Update*

Dear valued clients,

Our Nurse Practitioner has decided to take an extended maternity leave to spend this special time focused on her babies. Longevity Care Clinic is not going anywhere. In fact, we have been working hard behind the scenes to enhance health and wellness care even more within the community once she returns. We will keep everyone updated through our social media and website. In the meantime, we want to reassure the community that we will be back providing the same exceptional care with new services and ideas to follow.

If you would like to be added to our waiting list, please let us know by August 1st. We will honor our current waiting list and get back to you as soon as our Nurse Practitioner has a return date to resume full duties.

We thank you for your understanding and patience, and look forward to continuing to work with you in the future. We hope everyone enjoys their summer with family and friends.

We wanted to do a quick post to show our appreciation for our amazing Medical Office Assistant who has been with us for 1 year this month. You all know her as Julia, the friendly voice behind the phone calls or the smile behind the desk when you come in. For us, she is such a valuable member of the team. She is the person who helps us stay organized and is always going above and beyond to help the clinic continue to flourish. Thank you for all that you do Julia.

Longevity Care Clinic would like to welcome Rosemarie to our team. She has taken on the role as our head IV Therapy Nurse. Having spent the majority of her nursing career in obstetrics, Rosemarie has developed a passion for caring for women. which makes her a perfect fit at the clinic.

In April we brought NAD+ to our IV vitamin infusion menu and it has been our most popular product by far! Back in April we made a post about this product so please feel free to scroll down, check it out, and learn more!

NAD+, aka liquid gold, is a coenzyme of vitamin B3 and is found in each single living cell of our body.
+ As we age, NAD+ levels decline. By age 40 we're down to 50% of the NAD+ we had when we were 20. By age 80, we're down to just 1-8%.

This week we celebrate National Nurse Practitioners' Week!

For those who are not familiar with the role of the Nurse Practitioner, they are independent health care professionals with the knowledge and ability to diagnose and treat medical conditions and diseases, order and interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and imaging, prescribe medication, and perform medical procedures within their legislated scope of practice outlined by their provincial regulatory bodies.

Longevity Care Clinic was established by our very own Nurse Practitioner, Brettany Makuch. She felt there was a need within the community for services to optimize women's health and well-being. Her dream was to build a clinic that would offer a safe, client-centered space, where women could feel empowered and heard. She hopes to continue making a difference in as many women's lives as she can.

In celebration of Nurse Practitioners' Week take a moment to thank a Nurse Practitioner who may have positively impacted your own life. We here at Longevity Care Clinic wish you well on your continued journey to health and well-being.
