This week’s small project is building a raised platform for our water tank since we do not have a pump for watering and rely on gravity!
We are looking for a donation of 2 sheets of 1/2inch treated plywood! Message us if you would like to make this purchase for the FSJ garden!

We are looking for a beefy 2500+ truck to tow a trailer with tractor from Clairmont area to town on Saturday morning! We need to finish removing fence post and hops towers at our old site, as well as skim a grass layer off the new site.

We are looking forward to our workbee on Saturday but we are still hoping for a skid steer (or two) to help us out!
Wondering if we can use you? Our goal is to finish moving things from the old site to the new. We have jobs for everyone!
Here is a glimpse:
Cut zip ties from fence, roll up chain link, box up fence caps, take apart as much fence as possible, dig up raspberries and rhubarb, move watering cans and black rain barrels, move small greenhouse and 3 hops towers.
A skid steer would help us move rocks, and pull posts out of the ground. If you have tools that would make these jobs easier, please bring them!🛠️

Hello Gardeners!

We are holding a public input meeting on Monday April 28th from 5pm-6pm at the Northern Lights College (room 1502) to see what YOU want from the garden this year. There will also be info about how you can volunteer throughout the season. We have the rare opportunity to fully re-design at our new location. Come out and tell us what you want to see in the garden!

Hi everyone, wanted to give an update on what's going on at the Gardens...
We are working with the City of FSJ to find our new home, which will be announced soon!
This growing season we will be focusing on getting our new location up and running, so unfortunately will NOT have garden bed rentals this summer.
We will be having workbees throughout the warm times, so please keep your eye on our socials for dates.
Please consider volunteering with us this summer as we continue to establish ourselves in the community!!
