We try so hard to feel better, to be healthier, to take care of ourselves.
We eat healthier.
We move our bodies.
We try to get enough sleep.
We do “all the right things.”
But sometimes… even when we’re doing the work, we still feel off.
Tired. Inflamed. Foggy. Drained.
And here’s something many people don’t realize:
So many everyday products sitting on store shelves contain ingredients that can disrupt our hormones, affect our sleep, impact digestion, trigger headaches, irritate our skin, and more often without us even knowing it.
Laundry detergent.
Hand soap.
Toothpaste.
Candles.
Cleaning products.
Shampoo.
These are things we use every single day, things that sit on our skin, fill our air, and become part of our daily environment.
I used to assume that if products were being sold to consumers, they had to be safe.
Finding out that isn’t always true was incredibly eye-opening… and honestly, disappointing.
So if you’re doing all the things and still not feeling your best, start reading labels.
Start becoming aware.
One simple place to begin?
Look for the word “fragrance.”
That single word can hide hundreds of undisclosed chemicals.
If you see it, it may be time to start looking for a safer alternative.
And I know… it’s not always easy.
Finding cleaner products takes time, research, and sometimes trial and error.
But your health is worth it.
Your family is worth it.
Small changes truly can make a world of difference for your body, your mind, your heart, and your soul. 💛
