I choose the name Chaos to Calm because eventually I will be helping people on their health journey as well as organize their life. I truly believe we can take our bodies from a state of chaos to a calm state. I have done a lot of work on myself and this is what I have figured out….
This is for all the girlies who feel like they are failing at their weight loss journey. I know what will help, and it’s your mindset! Let me explain. If you were given a choice between being 200lbs but your body looked exactly the way you wanted it to OR you were 130lbs and you looked exactly how you didn’t want. What would you choose? Obviously the 200lb body… so what does that tell me.. the number on the scale doesn’t matter. Now let’s say you had this ‘ideal’ looking body BUT you were in pain. It hurts to walk, you can’t play with your kids, you have headaches, anxiety, depression, you have to watch everything you eat because it hurts you. Your body is in shambles OR you’re a little fluffier or rounder than you think is ideal BUT you have zero pain, you have energy to play with your kids for hours, you have no anxiety, no depression, you can eat whatever you want. What would you choose?? Obviously the rounder version. So what does this tell me… your health and how you feel is actually what you want in life!! So f**k the scale, f**k having an idea in your head on what you should look like and just work on your true inner health. Find out what makes you feel good, everyone is so different!! It’s going to be a journey. You’re not going to get there in a week or even a year. But guess what, that journey of working on your health, will give you more time. Change your mindset from a number to ‘I’m choosing to do this because it makes me feel good and I will live longer.’ Choose whole foods that our earth has blessed us with, not processed foods that man has made us. Lift something heavy and go for walks. Set long term goals like wanting to play with your great great grandchildren or being able to walk a round of golf at 80! Set a short term goal like when you walk into a room you’re going to make people think ‘wow, that girl looks confident and happy. Her energy is radiant!’ This is what will happen when you find your true inner health. So join me and change your weight loss journey into a health journey.
