Before the back-to-school shopping begins and September fills up fast, let’s talk about one of the most important things you can do for your child’s success:
A comprehensive eye exam. 👁️

Did you know that 80% of classroom learning is visual? If your child is having trouble seeing clearly, it can impact their ability to read, write, focus, and feel confident at school.

And here’s the thing, kids don’t always know something is wrong with their vision. They assume what they see is normal. That’s why regular eye exams are so important, even when there are no complaints.

👁️ When should your child have an eye exam?
✅ 1 year old (first exam)
✅ 3 years old (second exam)
✅ Every year from age 5 until they complete school.

Routine exams help catch vision problems early, before they interfere with learning or development.

A patient came in days after cutting brush with persistent irritation. What we found under his eyelid was shocking, a 2cm piece of plant material embedded inside.

It’s always great to connect with people who truly understand the ins and outs of our industry and who support clinics like ours in meaningful ways. Michelle shared valuable insights and strategies on how we can better present and sell luxury eyewear which is something we love bringing to our patients.

UPDATE: 2:17pm we are back up and running! Business as usual- thanks for your patience

As of 1:30 PM, we’re experiencing an unexpected power outage that has forced us to close. Without computer or phone access, we’re unable to assist patients or contact anyone regarding appointments.

You’re welcome to reach out through our social media platforms, but please note we may be unable to respond to any questions that require access to our systems.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and truly appreciate your patience and understanding. This situation is out of our control, but we’re hopeful BC Hydro will restore service soon so we can get back to caring for you.
