Due to the amount of no-shows for appointments and surgery, we are now increasing our fees to:
No-show appointments: $50
No-show surgeries: $100
** we require a minimum 24 hour notice for cancellations to avoid these fees.
We are currently booking appointments and surgeries 2-3 months in advance so when appointments do not show up it is very frustrating for those clients who really need more urgent care.
Thank you for your understanding. We appreciate you all.

It’s Veterinary Technician Week!

Ever wonder what a vet tech does? The answer is… just about everything! From comforting pets and owners in exams, to assisting in surgery, to giving meds, performing dentals, pulling blood draws, taking x-rays, and being the ultimate snuggle providers — our techs truly do it all.

This week, we’re celebrating them with gifts, shout-outs, and tons of gratitude. If you see one of our amazing techs, be sure to give them a big THANK YOU — they deserve it! Thank you Kari, Jocelynn, Elle, Krystal and Kira!

Perfection comes in threes! And it’s even better when they are Frenchies!

3 successful C-Sections performed all in this last week by Dr. Sewell and the amazing staff we have at the clinic!

Saturdays are the girls! And we guess maybe the boys.
Maisey came in this Saturday to see Dr. Sewell for an emergency c-section that resulted in 3 healthy girls and one little boy!

We always offer emergency services and we love to see happy endings like Maisey. She and her babies are recovering well.

Pets are like toddlers. You turn your back for two seconds and suddenly they’re playing in the toilet or putting things in their mouth they definitely shouldn’t. Just like these two.
Harmony decided to challenge herself and eat an entire mango (spoiler: she can’t), and Domino thought it’d be fun to share a baby bottle ni**le with their tiny human.
Our team immediately added two emergency surgeries to the schedule, knowing these weren’t cases that could wait.
Dr. Sewell quickly removed both the mango pit and bottle ni**le from Harmony and Domino.
Both pets are now recovering comfortably — no complications, just a little less curious (for now).
A huge thank you to our clients who rescheduled their appointments to make room for these urgent cases — and to Dr. Sewell, whose quick and steady hands were able to make room for these unexpected surgeries on a busy day.
We don’t recommend the snacks. But we do recommend the surgeon

Anyone missing a kitten?

Approx 5 month old intact male cat found stuck in a fence, just a couple blocks south of North Peace Chiropractic Clinic.

Due to the cold temperature, Dr. Sewell was concerned for potential frost bite and hypothermia, so he met the good samaritans who found the little guy at the clinic for a quick check.

Other than minor frost bite, the kitten is healthy and will be resting in the clinic for night and transported to the SPCA in the morning. Please contact them if he is yours!

Hearing the words “Emergency C-Section” will make most people’s heart drop, but the end outcome is the most rewarding.
At 10:30pm Friday night, Dr. Sewell with his technician Jocelynn performed a successful C-Section, helping Sassy deliver 4 wonderfully healthy puppies. Mom and babies are doing very well, soaking in all the love on these cold dreary days!
