Another happy mom: (excited to help you too - let's chat)
🌿 Grayson’s Testimonial – 5 Months In ( My son 10 years old)
Grayson is neurodivergent and lives with autism, ADHD with impulsivity, sensory processing challenges, PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidance), frontal lobe epilepsy, dysgraphia, asthma, and digestive issues — particularly chronic constipation.
Before starting pHix, his nervous system was constantly overwhelmed.
He struggled deeply with stress, anxiety, and emotional regulation. His anger outbursts and meltdowns were frequent and intense, often lasting one to two hours at a time. Frustration — with himself or others — would escalate very quickly, and recovery took a long time.
Physically, his body was under strain. His appetite was dysregulated, often leading to overeating, weight gain around his tummy, increased puffiness, and discomfort. This affected his breathing and asthma, leading to more frequent asthma symptoms, sinus congestion, and phlegm. His digestion was poor, and constipation was a regular struggle.
Daily tasks were extremely challenging due to PDA and sensory sensitivities. Something as simple as brushing his teeth felt impossible — managing it two or three times a week felt like a miracle. He was also very selective with food and resistant to trying anything new.
Academically, he was really struggling. At the beginning of the year, Grayson was reading at a pre-Grade R level, despite being in Grade 3. He failed his language subjects in the first two terms, often scoring 0–1 out of 10 or 20 for spelling, writing, and dictation. His confidence at school was very low.
Five months ago, we introduced pHix (vagus nerve activation drops).
The changes we’ve seen since then have been nothing short of life-changing.
Grayson is now sleeping through the night and waking up more rested — not groggy, not exhausted. His nervous system is calmer, his cortisol levels have clearly come down, and his body looks less puffy. He has lost centimetres, body fat, and some weight, and continues to move toward a healthier balance.
His appetite has improved — not perfectly, but noticeably — and, incredibly, he is now more open to trying new foods, something we never thought possible.
Emotionally, he is calmer, less anxious, and far more regulated. His meltdowns, which used to last up to two hours, are now 10–15 minutes, happen less frequently, and he is noticeably slower to react. This alone has been a complete game changer for him — and for our family.
One of our biggest daily wins has been brushing his teeth. Since the 1st of January, Grayson has brushed his teeth every single day — something we could never consistently achieve before due to PDA and sensory overload.
Academically, the transformation has been extraordinary.
By the end of the year, Grayson finished reading at the start of a Grade 3 level — an incredible leap in just five months. His marks shifted dramatically. From failing languages and scoring almost nothing, he began achieving 9/10, 16/20, and strong results in spelling, writing, and dictation. His teachers even commented in disbelief, asking what had changed — his focus, concentration, and engagement had improved so significantly.
Even his body confidence has grown. For the first time, Grayson now swims without a T-shirt, wearing just his swimming trunks. For him, this is a massive milestone — feeling comfortable and safe in his body.
This is only after five months.
I honestly cannot wait to see what a full year of supporting his nervous system, digestion, hormones, and overall regulation will bring. The results have already been profound — and this feels like just the beginning of what’s possible for him. 💛
