Meet Basit Adeyinka from our dynamic clinic in Fort Saskatchewan. Basit graduated from the University of Alberta with a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy and an honour’s degree in BSc Kinesiology from York University in Toronto, ON.
He fully dedicated to providing the best evidence-based patient-centred care to all of his patients. In Basit’s own words, “I strive myself in continual growth and to always enhance my clinical knowledge, skills and expertise in the field of Physiotherapy and sports rehabilitation. I have completed my Level 1 course in soft tissue release even before graduating from the Physiotherapy program, and I have started my post-graduate training with the Orthopedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
I enjoy treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal injuries and orthopedic conditions, including spinal dysfunction or pain, sport and work-related injuries, Motor vehicle accidents, Injury prevention programs. My treatment style includes collaborating with my patients to better understand the underlying cause of injury, pain or dysfunction and to providing patient-specific treatment plans to getting you to move better and returning to things that matter most to you. After all, each patient is different, and as a result, my treatment approach with everyone will be different. We’ll work together to get you where you need to be (That’s my goal!).
When we meet, you’ll soon find out that health and fitness are my passion. When I’m not in the clinic, I’m busy engaging in various sporting/fitness activities such as bodybuilding, running, martial arts, basketball and soccer. If I wasn’t pursuing physiotherapy as a career, I would be pursuing my other dream of becoming a professional soccer player. However, after sustaining several injuries playing at a Semi-professional level in Toronto, I decided to change careers and help others achieve their health, fitness, and lifestyle goals.
