Hi, I'm Arthi, I have fond memories growing up on a farm, sinking little girl feet into the mud, being a little wild, spending hours in the pastures and becoming one with the herd. I also have memories of a shattered sense of the present and the future that roots from my journey of complex childhood trauma. It led to my own path of becoming a healer, Trauma Informed Yoga Therapist
& Registered Psychotherapist. Thus the birth of Dancing Goat Therapy Farm. I am trained in various Therapeutic modalities Dance movement Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Mindfulness Based CBT & Hypnotherapy. I work with ages 8 years - 80 years. Today I am living my dreams of helping others discover and live theirs through the magic of the great outdoors and animals as my co-therapist.

While I was cheering for my son at his soccer final kvmsboys_soccer2025, three llamas quietly slipped away from the farm on what I can only assume was a heartfelt mission to visit Mama Llama, who’s still recovering at the Vet. 🦙💛

Off they went, trotting down the road with purpose and terrible traffic awareness.

Thankfully, our amazing neighbors quickly spotted them, called us, and started sounding the alarm warning drivers to go slow because apparently the llamas were officially on tour. 🚗💨

Unfortunately, I was in one of those “no network, no hope” zones. But by the time I finally got through, literally 10 minutes later, the message came in…

Out of nowhere, A group of our neighbourhood kids saw the Facebook post, jumped into action quicker than WiFi, gathered their friends, fired up their four-wheelers, and showed up immediately to guide the llamas home safely. 🚜💪

All before I even finished yelling, “Who left the gate open!?” 😂

The llamas were home safely.

No chaos. No Llama Drama (well, maybe a little). Just teamwork, kindness, and quick-thinking kids who make this community so special.

I’m absolutely in love with these kids, the heart of our community, the ones who don’t wait to be told, who lead with heart, and who remind us that kindness really is the most natural thing in the world. ❤️

Huge thanks to all of you for saving the day and sparing me from chasing llamas in soccer cleats. 😅

These kids deserve the spotlight!

Let’s celebrate them loud and proud because they deserves to feel how loved and appreciated they are. Kindness, courage, and quick thinking are always in style. 💛

🎁 GIVEAWAY TIME!
We’re doing a little Thank You Giveaway for the community and awesome kids.

👉 Hit that share button and tag a friend so their kindness travels farther than the llamas did. 😉

Winner get’s a meet n greet with the runaway divas. 🦙💃

👇 Drop a 🦙 or ❤️ below if you’re as proud of them as I am.

It’s been over a week since Mama Llama was moved to the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in Maine, a teaching hospital where she’s now being cared for as a clinical case.

She hasn’t been able to stand for nearly two weeks, and despite multiple vet visits, no one could tell us why. It’s been heartbreaking.

One evening, while chatting with a fellow farm owner of exotic Pets Dragon Mire Farm she sent me a list of specialized vets in Ontario. That message changed everything. Within hours, I received a referral to the Maine Veterinary Teaching Hospital, where they agreed to take Mama in as a clinical case giving her access to advanced diagnostics, flotation devices, and a full care team, all at a subsidized cost.

The vets now believe it may be nerve damage, but she’s surrounded by gentle hands and hearts students, doctors, and techs who are helping her stand again with slings, straps, and sheer compassion.

Until the evening she was leaving, Mama never leaned into her baby she always stood strong beside her, quietly watching, as if to reassure her little one that everything would be okay. But that evening … she leaned in. It was the first time I saw her do that. It broke my heart in two. 💔

I asked the trailer to come back later that night so they could have a final moment together a soft goodbye between mother and child.

We miss Mama so much here at the farm. I haven’t cleaned up her space it still feels like her. I keep hoping she’ll come back stronger, standing tall again, the way she always did.

At least she’s not in pain now and she’s being cared for by a team who’s learning through her story.

Please keep her in your thoughts and send her healing energy. She’s always been the calm heart of our herd, and we can’t wait to have her home again. 💗

It’s been a really heavy time on the farm. We still don’t have answers for Mama Llama. Our vets have tried everything, and it’s heartbreaking to be told there’s nothing more that can be done. That’s the hardest part, watching her baby nudge her to be strong, and not knowing how to make it better.

In the middle of this ache, I leaned on the wisdom of community. Today I drove down to visit a fellow farmer and good friend someone who knows llamas deeply llamazingadventures

I spent the day learning more about llamas, soaking in knowledge, tricks, and even picking up some helpful medications for Mama Llama. It gave me hope in the middle of this hard chapter.

There is a kind of trust that exists between farmers, built on the unspoken understanding of how much these animals mean to us. It reminded me that while we may not have answers for Mama, we are not walking this road alone.

It was bittersweet , i got to meet Diesel who’s living his best life and came right up to me.
the biggest personality of them all was Shammy the Camel, who instantly made me smile. If you haven’t visited them yet for a llama walk (or soon a camel ride!), they are a small business worth celebrating.

Tonight, my heart holds both sorrow and gratitude. Sorrow for the questions that remain unanswered, and gratitude for the kindness and trust of those who walk alongside us.

If you have a moment, please hold Mama Llama in your thoughts and send her love and healing energy. She needs all of us rooting for her right now. 💛🦙
