Reiki With Heidi Holistic Health My name is Heidi Bieber, though some of you may know me as Heidi Piers.

I grew up in Fredericton/Fredericton area, New Brunswick, where I graduated from Fredericton High School, and later married and raised two children. I always had a caregiving nature, having two parents who made it their life's work to help others. My father, George Piers, co- founded Fredericton's community kitchen in 1982 and was heavily involved in community projects that ensured Fredericton's citizens never went hungry and had a warm place to stay. My mother, Hope Piers, worked as a clinical social worker in the community, helping Frederictonians cope with challenges like mental illness and drug addiction. My parents inspired me much throughout my life, and I later embarked on my own career path in the realm of caregiving. For the past twenty years, I have worked as a personal support worker, in many levels of care. In more recent years to present, I have been working at Hospice, caring for patients at the end of their lives. Over the years, I have met and engaged with countless families as they faced the realities of having a loved one with a terminal illness and the grief that comes with great loss. My work and life experience has often reminded me that we live in a predominately grief-illiterate society.

Thank you to everyone who came out last night for the sound bath. I truly appreciate all the positive feed back.It was a great vibe,and I'm so thankful we could share this space and experience together.

A big shout-out to Grace Harrington for joining the sound bath last night making it extra magical. Your energy and presence added such a beautiful layer to the evening.
