My name is Anaya Marie (they/them) and I am a certified Birth and Post-Partum Doula. I was born and raised in Nova Scotia and have been living my life here in New Brunswick since 2016. I have always been passionate about babies, children, and parenthood soon I was a little girl. However after being a preschool teacher for 2 years I've come to realize just how taxing it is on my body (I have widespread chronic pain). I remembered learning about midwives and doulas when I was attending NBCC for my ECE certificate however it felt a little late for that route as I was already in a course. Funny how 2 years later can roll by and know for sure now that it is your calling. As an omnis*xual; genderfluid; agender; polyamourous; s*x positive person, I truly look forward to helping people, of all backgrounds, on this beautiful new journey.
