โ€œFeel the Earth beneath your feet โ€” and let your energy rise like a spring. ๐ŸŒฟ
Kidney 1 (Yongquan) is where vitality begins.โ€

๐ŸŒŸ FUN FACT:

KD1 is the lowest point on the body โ€” the gateway between your energy and the Earthโ€™s energy.
Itโ€™s called โ€œYongquanโ€ (ๆถŒๆณ‰) which means โ€œGushing Springโ€, symbolizing the flow of life force (Qi) rising from the ground up through your body.

๐Ÿ“ LOCATION:

On the sole of the foot, in the depression between the 2nd and 3rd toes, about one-third of the distance from the base of the toes to the heel.
(It feels like a small hollow when you curl your toes.)

โšก FUNCTIONS & BENEFITS:

Nourishes Kidney energy and balances Yinโ€“Yang

Calms the mind and reduces anxiety

Strengthens the spine, knees, and bones

Promotes deep, restorative sleep

Lowers blood pressure naturally

Improves circulation and detoxifies

๐Ÿฉบ CONDITIONS IT HELPS:

๐ŸŒฟ HOW TO STIMULATE KD1:

Press with your thumb for 1โ€“2 minutes while breathing deeply.

Massage in circles 30โ€“50 times per foot.

Tap the soles gently to awaken energy.

For better effect โ€” soak feet in warm salt water first.

๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™€๏ธ TAI CHI & QI GONG SUPPORT:

Tai Chi movements that strengthen KD1 include:

โ€œRooting Stanceโ€ (Zhan Zhuang) โ€” standing still and feeling the connection to Earth.

โ€œGather Earth Qiโ€ โ€” gently shifting weight to feel energy rise from the soles.
These build grounding, balance, and kidney vitality.

Rehmannia (Shu Di Huang)

Goji berries
