Your team is gearing up and ready for upcoming vaccine season.

We will start the campaign on Wednesday October 15th this year. No seasonal respiratory vaccines will be given before this date.

Covid and flu shots are now available to book.
The easiest way to book is via our app - only select flu shot and you can leave a note if you wish to receive a Covid vaccine as well.

For eligible patients RSV and pneumonia vaccines are also available*

Kids are back to school.
So give it a few weeks and we will be back into cough and cold season.

Stay tuned for updates on the upcoming fall vaccine program - normally starts sometime in October and this year will include both Covid and flu vaccine as well as pneumonia vaccine for those 65+ who are eligible and RSV for those 75+ who are eligible.

Nearer the time we will be opening appointments that can be booked online through our app.

Our longest serving employee will be leaving us temporarily in December. Asia will be going on maternity leave for one year and while she is irreplaceable we are looking for someone to help us out during her absence.

To that end we will be hiring for a full time pharmacy assistant position with a one year term starting December 2025-December 2026.

The number of services now covered under Medicare continues to slowly grow - so if you suspect you have one of the following - stop in by, call or book an appointment online*

Services pharmacists can provide

Services and minor ailments that pharmacists are funded to assess and prescribe for include:

Prescription renewal
Acne (Mild): Must be 12 years of age and older
Seasonal Allergies: Must be 2 years of age or older
Cold Sores: Must be 12 years of age or older and previously diagnosed with cold sores.
Conjunctivitis: Must be 1 year of age and older
Contact Allergic Dermatitis: Must be 2 years of age and older
Contraception Management: Must be between the ages of 12 and 50
Eczema (Mild to moderate): Must be 2 years of age and older
Fungal Infections of the skin:
Ringworm: Must be 2 years of age or older
Jock Itch: Must be 2 years of age or older
Athlete’s Foot: Must be 12 years of age or older
Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD): Must be 18 years of age and older
Impetigo: Must be 2 years of age and older
Thrush
Shingles: Must be 12 years of age and older
Urinary Tract Infections (UTI’s): Must be 16 years of age and older and previously diagnosed with a UTI.
Tick bites: Presenting within 72 hours of a suspected tick bite and have no symptoms
