À l’occasion de la première Journée nationale des soins de longue durée, l’AFSNB souhaite souligner les lauréats des prix remis lors de notre assemblée générale annuelle!
Le Prix d'excellence pour l'ensemble des réalisations a été remis à France L. Marquis pour son accomplissement et ses contributions exceptionnelles à Les Résidences Jodin Inc, d'Edmundston. Depuis l'arrivée de Mme Marquis au conseil d'administration du foyer, plusieurs projets et réalisations ont été concrétisées tel que les salles de dentisterie, la câlinothérapie, la réadaptation, les chambres de soins palliatifs, la salle à manger pour les employés, la construction d'un garage, la construction d'un pavillon de jardin pour les résidents et le foyer est devenu membre du Réseau Planetree francophone.
Le Prix de reconnaissance du foyer de soins axé sur le résident a été donné à Les Résidences Inkerman Inc. pour l'ensemble des activités de loisirs et les effets positifs dans la communauté. La communauté d'Inkerman parle du foyer de façon très positive depuis l'ensemble du personnel organisent des activités inoubliables et hors de l'ordinaire pour les résidents et résidentes. Tout a commencé avec l’arrivée d’une employée, Mme Sonia Nowlan, qui a gagné la confiance du personnel grâce à son dévouement au bien-être des résidents. Le personnel s'entraide et les employés des soins veulent participer et aider aux activités pour faire vivre de belles expériences aux résidents, parfois d'un niveau de soins 4, gardant en tête la sécurité pour tous.

For the Inaugural National Long Term Care Day, NBANH wants to showcase our award recipients presented at our Annual General Meeting!
The Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to France L. Marquis for her exceptional accomplishments and contributions to Les Résidences Jodin Inc., of Edmundston. Since the arrival of Ms. Marquis to the board of directors of the home, several projects and achievements have been brought to fruition such as the dentistry rooms, cuddle therapy, rehabilitation, palliative care rooms, the dining room for employees, the construction of a garage, the construction of a garden pavilion for residents and the home became a member of the French-speaking Planetree Network.
The Resident-Centred Home Award was given to Les Résidences Inkerman Inc. for all of the recreational activities and positive impacts on the community. The community of Inkerman talks very positively about the home since the staff organize unforgettable and out-of-the-ordinary activities for residents. It all started with the arrival of an employee, Ms. Sonia Nowlan, who earned the trust of the staff through her dedication to the well-being of the residents. Staff help each other and care employees want to participate and help in activities to provide great experiences for residents, sometimes at level 4 of care, keeping in mind safety for everyone.
