ation in Animal Assisted Therapy, to bring in her two cannine counsellors, Griffin and Riley, as options, into therapy. Griffin was born blind and initially found it difficult to be adopted. After coming home with Heather and working in the counselling field, Griffin is now loved and adored by everyone that meets him. He won the Clancy Community Spirt award in 2011 and participated in the FLASH fashion show at the Delta hotel in the same year. Griffin bonds with children and adults alike. Somehow Griffin always knows what to do when the time is right. Riley is a four year old Golden Doodle who, although is a big dog, knows when its time to be calm and professional. Its been noted by many that "just running your hands through RIley's hair is therapeutic in itself".....and being hypoallergenic, the hair stays with Riley :)
