Cold-weather movement can increase calorie burn, support immune function, and build endurance, and more.

This fun bootcamp memory popped up today and felt like a good reminder for me too. Movement doesn’t have to stop just because it’s cold. I’m taking it as a nudge to keep playing outside this winter.

POV: Healthy relationships, of any kind, include both support and challenge.
We both love walking and hiking in nature.

When it’s –13°C, I resist bundling up and going out.
He embraces the cold and gently challenges me to move anyway.

And almost every time… once we’re on the trail, I’m the one who wants to go longer or faster 😉

Support doesn’t mean letting you stay stagnant, and challenge doesn’t always feel good.

But together, they help us grow stronger, healthier, and more alive.
