Day 23 update on my coffee journey. âď¸
Iâve had caffeine 2 times in the past 23 daysâŚ
1. 2 sips of Brianâs coffee while sitting at the market watching him enjoy it, then I reminded myself to simply enjoy him & the market vibe. đĽ°
2. Today, 1/2 caf & 1/2 decaf for the 5+ drive home followed by Zoom sessions and a webinar tonight from 6-10 pm.
As many of you know, I donât believe in restriction or tend to have an all-or-nothing thinking. Once Iâve been through the process and feel confident with it being doable and sustainable, Iâll share more of the why behind it, the process, the newest science/studies, and how to do it in a way that doesnât create stress.
It actually has decreased my stress response and Iâm loving how I feel, even more! đ
My goal? Basically, to feel free yet in control like I do with my nutrition. I want to have it once in a while when I really want it and enjoy thoroughly, only have decaf a couple of times/week as I donât want that habit either, and to use it occasionally on purpose to manipulate my system while in time zone changes.
Iâm only experiencing a 2 hr time zone change but Iâm also 5 nights without my usual optimal sleep. đŹ
And one more thing⌠if I was going home and not working or participating in a webinar until 10 PM, I wouldâve simply had decaf for the comfort and enjoyment of the ride home.
