Thank you for coming and sharing your expertise and resources with our community 💖

Good morning from the Unlock Your Mind: Mental Health Conference!

Angela is honored to be here today, proudly representing Hospice Fredericton. She’s looking forward to connecting with fellow attendees, sharing the heart of Hospice Fredericton’s mission, and engaging in meaningful conversations about the power of compassionate end-of-life care and grief support.

A special highlight of today’s event—Hospice Fredericton’s Alison Lynch Richard will be participating in the panel discussion “Navigating Grief: Supporting Mental Health After Loss.” Her insights reflect the deep care and expertise Hospice Fredericton brings to our community every day.

If you’re attending, be sure to visit our booth and take a moment to connect. Together, we’re building a more compassionate and supportive community.

We’re happy to welcome resource booths to further enrich the Unlock Your Mind experience! 🔓🧠🌱

🚨MEET A SPEAKER🚨

My name is Bill Mclaughlin and I am the founder of Under The Tent outreach in the city of Fredericton New Brunswick. I first started as a founding director with prison Christian ministries back in 2016, this prepared me by doing visitations locally in jails and prisons and visiting woman’s prisons in Kenya Africa. During the year 2018 I was approached regarding establishing an inner city work within the city of Fredericton. I reluctantly assumed this as I was a busy person, my first day on the street was February 2020 in a parking lot during a rain and snowstorm. I served from the back of my van out of a thermos of coffee and one box of Dad‘s Oatmeal cookies. From that day until now we have expanded to 20 +volunteers, three canopy tents, cube van. serving 100 cups of coffee and various home-cooked meals, clothing, and the necessities of survival with homeless on the street. Under The Tent outreach is now in three locations within Fredericton downtown areas and continues to grow and partner within the community bringing, advocacy concepts to work with people to get to the bottom of their problems and get them headed in a recovery direction away from addiction and homelessness while living on the street.
