Together, we raised $8,829.59 for Bar None Camp with our show this past Friday at The Playhouse Theatre!

We were very lucky to have a group of students from the music camps we hosted (and one very amazing teacher) join us for a very special song at the end of the first set. To Evan, Addie, Clara, Mia, and our good friend Terry Whalen - thank you for sharing your talents + the stage with us and for making this night unforgettable.

A special thanks to Jamie O’Toole, Joey Savoy, Terry Whalen, and Adam Hayward for their continuous investment in our communities, Bar None Camp, and so many lucky kids lives that they impact daily.

We are always so impressed by the good work we can do when we all work together and this is certainly a shining example. Our hearts are full and we couldn’t be any more grateful for all of your beautiful support! ❤️❤️❤️

Key Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

In loving memory of our founder Marshall Montgomery Lewis (Monty) on the 11th anniversary of his passing. His transformative life changing story and commitment to helping all people without discrimination, has come full circle now.

His heart is carried forward by his wife Lynda Lewis and 5 children, his legacy continues to be a shining light in dark places, and his legend is still celebrated by people from all walks of life - from high ranking government officials to prisoners in solitary confinement.

You are lovingly remembered by your family, your many friends, and those today who are still discovering your powerful testimony reminding us all - that anyone is capable of making a change for the better.

Bar None Camp is seeking a seasonal Camp Director (with the possible opportunity for full time employment once contract/term is reviewed. )
Start date: May.1st (flexible)
End Date: Sept.27th (flexible)
Hourly rate: 20$ per hour 40 hours a week
Accommodations: provided private apartment with full amenities
Vehicle: Use of company vehicle
Contract: 22 weeks @ 20$ per hour 40 hours per week = total contract of 17,600$ gross (before tax)
Responsibilities: Assuming all roles of Bar None Camp Director, managing staff, managing client relationships, and consulting with The Director of Community Affairs and Public Relations on all aspects of Camp in the 2024 season.

Please join us in welcoming Stephen Lewis as our new Director of Community Affairs & Public Relations for Bridges Of Canada. For the last year, Stephen has done incredible work as The Director of Bar None Camp and has quickly proven his value in many different areas of the organization. This new position will encompass an Executive Director role for Bar None Camp, a leadership role in reopening our women’s rehabilitation centre “The Sarah Tracy Centre”, developing training for our many employees, and consulting with many community/government partners to explore how we can serve at risk communities in even bigger ways than imagined.
