With shop local on everyone's mind these days I thought I'd share a recent experience. I bought a beautiful farm raised, free range chicken from Somerset Farms on Gabriola. It was almost 7 pounds and cost about $43....which is a lot, however.....it fed 4 people dinner last night, then today 2 of us had chicken salad for lunch and tonight is chicken soup for 4 again likely with leftovers! It makes me feel really good to shop local.🙏🇨🇦
