Please join Gibson Family Health Care (Helen Henderson Care Centre and Carveth Care Centre) from 11 am to 2 pm tomorrow at St. Lawrence College, Kingston Campus, for a job fair. Our two homes are looking for RPNs, PSWs and a Grounds Maintenance Worker Summer Student. We'll even have fresh cookies from our kitchen to share. We'll see you there!

Stop by the Student and Graduate Job Fairs at St. Lawrence College starting Tuesday, March 3 in Kingston from 11AM-2PM.

Outbreak over at Carveth Care Centre - Effective immediately, Public Health has declared the Enteric outbreak over at Carveth Care Centre (long-term care) in Gananoque. Visitations, outings and general visitors have resumed under the guidance of Public Health; masks are encouraged, but not required. Please do not visit if you are unwell. Hand hygiene/hand washing are still essential and must be performed on entry, before and after visiting, and upon exit. The Enteric outbreak in Carveth Retirement Lodge remains in effect. Health alert- The retirement lodge at Carveth Care Centre has joined the long-term care home in an Enteric outbreak. Masking is mandatory; please do not visit if you are unwell. Residents are restricted to visitors who are Essential Caregivers. Hand hygiene/hand washing is essential and must be performed on entry, before and after visiting, and upon exit. The home will continue to work closely with Public Health to minimize the impact. The home is following strict infection control protocols. Health alert- The long-term care home at Carveth Care Centre is in an Enteric outbreak. Masking is mandatory for all visitors. Visitors who are unwell, or who have symptoms such as diarrhea, vomiting, nausea, or fever, must not visit the home. Hand hygiene is essential and must be performed on entry, before and after visiting, and upon exit.
The home will continue to work closely with Public Health to minimize the impact. The home is following strict infection control protocols. Thank-you for your cooperation and understanding as we take every measure to protect your loved one. The well-being of the residents in our care and our staff is our top priority. Please know that we have a comprehensive management plan that has been carefully and thoughtfully designed by experts.
