One of our community partners is changing the way it takes 911 emergency medical calls.

When you call 911, there is always a series of questions asked about the medical problem and information is provided to support the emergency care.

Now, there is a new series of questions that will be asked regarding the nature of the issue, prioritizing the most severe cases for immediate emergency responses.

Take a moment to listen to what our local 911 emergency medical service providers are changing, because it just might save a life!

Another Mud Bogs in the books! The team was present at Wheels A Churnin, it was a very hot weekend but fun nonetheless.

We inaugurated a new protocol where First Responders and Higher Level of Care Professionals can provide a few over-the-counter medications and other life saving medications. By using a Medical Directive we can now provide these medications safely.

Hey, it’s OMR again from Belleville!

We just took the temperature of the pavement at the Belleville Waterfront Festival and it’s a whopping 55.2°C (131.36°F). Ouch!

Hot pavement is not awesome for pets tender paws and human bare feet. Take care of humans and creatures at risk.

As always stay hydrated, in the shade and wear sunscreen or protective clothing!
