Bethel Medical Clinic will be holding an in-person walk-in clinic today, Thursday, May 14th, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

✅ Open to registered/attached patients
✅ Open to unattached patients
✅ No appointment required
✅ Limited slots available

Please note that this clinic is intended for non-emergency urgent care needs and quick visits.

Patients will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis while capacity allows, and we would greatly appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we work to serve as many patients as possible.

As we reflect on the beautiful memories from the Bethel Medical Clinic Opening Ceremony, we are filled with gratitude for the love, support, and warm welcome we have received from the community.

This video captures some of the special moments from the day — the laughter, the conversations, the shared vision, and the heartfelt encouragement that made the occasion so meaningful to us. It was truly a privilege to gather together with community leaders, healthcare colleagues, friends, family, and supporters as we officially opened our doors.

More than just a clinic, our hope is for Bethel Medical Clinic to be a place of care, compassion, excellence, hope, access and service to the people of Gander and surrounding communities.

Over this past weekend, we had the honour of celebrating the opening ceremony of Bethel Medical Clinic, and our hearts are truly full of gratitude.

We would like to sincerely thank all our special guests who took time out of their busy schedules to join us and make the occasion such a memorable and meaningful one. Your presence, encouragement, and support meant so much to us.

We would especially like to thank the Town of Gander and the Honourable Percy Farwell for gracing us with your presence and for representing the town so warmly at our opening ceremony. Your support and kind words were deeply appreciated.

A heartfelt thank you also goes to our primary care and secondary care colleagues, as well as the many notable members of the community who attended the event. We are grateful for your encouragement and support as we begin this journey of serving the community.

Thank you all for celebrating this special milestone with us. We look forward to serving the community and building lasting relationships for years to come.

Today marked a truly wonderful start to our in-person clinics here in Gander. We were so grateful to welcome both our regular scheduled patients and members of the public accessing care through our in-person and ongoing virtual walk-in services.

We sincerely want to thank the people of Gander and the surrounding communities for the warm welcome and for giving us the opportunity to serve and care for you. It was especially encouraging to see such a great turnout at this evening’s walk-in clinic, which was able to support both attached and unattached patients without the need for prior booked appointments.

We would also like to kindly clarify that at this time, we are not able to formally register new patients under our family physicians, as our doctors already have existing patient panels through their ongoing medical practice in the community. Having served in Gander for over a year, many patients are already connected to our physicians through previous care relationships.

That said, we remain deeply committed to improving accessibility and making care available to as many people as possible within our capacity — including patients who may not currently have a family doctor.

We are truly thankful for the trust, support, and encouragement shown to us today, and we look forward to continuing to provide care to both our registered patients and the wider public.
