Today is all about women’s heart health. ♥

Did you know heart disease is the number one killer of women across the globe?

And yet, women are still drastically under-studied and underdiagnosed… so much so that in over 50% of women, heart attack symptoms go unrecognized!

Women experience different symptoms than those more commonly known. Sure, they’re likely to experience the painful burning sensation in their chest, sweating and pain in their right arm and jaw, but women also experience:

- Shortness of breath
- Indigestion or nausea
- Extreme fatigue
- Sleeping disturbances
- Dizziness

Today, during Wear Red Day, we urge you to get involved and dig into the facts about heart disease in women.
