We did the last of the preliminary dressing changes today….the end of another, highly successful mission for RWI. We could not do what we do without the assistance of so many people. A huge thank you to: all the administrative and operating room staff at the Aga Khan Hospital in Dar Es Salaam; to the surgical residents and fellows, guest surgeons, and surgical consultants from the Muhimbili Hospital; and most especially to the beautiful women and children who trusted us with their care. It has been an extreme privilege to work with Dr Andrea Pusic and her dedicated, international team of female plastic surgeons, physician assistants and nursing staff. It seems that we fit 1 year into 1 week. .pusic
