Meet Bethanie! She is one of our Registered Veterinary Technicians here at Mountainview Animal Hospital.
🐾 Get to know her a little better:

Hi, my name is Bethanie and I am one of the Registered Veterinary Technicians at Mountainview Animal Hospital. I have had a deep love of animals for as long as I can remember and always knew I wanted to work with them when I grew up. One thing I love about being an RVT is being able to use my skills to help improve pets lives.

When I’m not working, you can find me outside hiking or camping with my dog Shasta or reading with my cats Azula and Onyx curled up beside me.

❌ Myth: Pets will get over pain on their own.

✅ Fact: Ignoring pain doesn’t make it go away. In fact, it can make pets more sensitive to it, turning minor discomfort into major pain.

💛 Helping pets manage pain doesn’t just ease their discomfort, it helps them stay happy, active, and enjoying life to the fullest.

Meet Gabriel! A remarkable 19-year-old kitty!
He came in for recheck bloodwork so we can continue keeping a close eye on his health. Senior pets like Gabriel benefit from regular monitoring to help them stay as comfortable and happy as possible in their golden years.

🚫 Myth: “It’s normal for senior pets to slow down, that’s just aging.”

✅ Fact: It’s easy to assume slowing down, difficulty moving, or less interest in play is “just old age.” But age itself is not a disease. While it’s true that many health issues are more likely to occur in older pets, changes in daily habits should never be dismissed as simply aging.

With the right care, senior pets can stay active, comfortable, and enjoy their golden years.
