4 years ago…. I continue to learn.

…

When I first heard about unmarked graves containing the remains of 215 children that had been found in Canada at a former residential school set up to assimilate indigenous people…

I took pause.

I still can’t believe this happened.

I took the time to educate myself (a fraction of the information out there).

I reached out to my friend Ben Bieber of Evil Kitty Graphics and ordered the orange handprints of children. These handprints have been on our windows since June. This is a representation of a small fraction of children found to date.

I commit to learning more. I am an ally. I will hear your stories. I will teach my children.

Thank you Ben for making this happen.
