Body Buddys

In 2012 Kim Kingston made a heart shaped warming bag for her daughter who was away at University at the time and suffered from extreme pain caused by endometriosis. The heart shape initially signified her love for her daughter but very quickly it became clear that the shape perfectly fit into the lower abdominal area. Soon her sister wanted one and then their friends requested them... children they babysat for requested them and then Kim's friends started requesting them, their mothers, Kim's mother, other grandmothers, massage therapists and on it went. ... :) Surprisingly enough, even her daughters' significant others requested them and before she knew it she was creating Body Buddys for many people that she knew and people were enquiring about where they could buy them. They then developed the longer version called "The Hug" as Kim Kingston is an avid ocean paddler and suffers from low back pain early in the paddling season. "The Hug" is perfect for draping across the lower back at night time. Bed warming then became somewhat of an addiction in the winter time and a whole new market opened up with older women/men who like to crawl into a warm bed. These bags are beautiful and functional and satisfy a need for pain relief and warmth and signify love and caring. Every Body Buddy is unique and made with love and care and is simply the perfect gift for a person of any age.
