With over 80 years of combined specialized experience in the addictions recovery field, the founders of ARC are passionate in providing clients with a holistic recovery process that covers the gaps often found in other recovery centres. An initial assessment of co-occurring disorders followed by a full residential recovery program, family programming and after care programming provides a maximized opportunity for each client.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Bruneau, President and CEO of Aurora Recovery Centre.
Michael was not only a visionary leader, but also a compassionate advocate for those struggling with addiction and mental health challenges. His dedication to helping individuals and families reclaim their lives was the driving force behind Aurora Recovery Centre’s mission and success.
Under Michael’s leadership, Aurora became a place of hope and transformation for countless people. His vision, integrity, and relentless commitment will forever remain the foundation of our work.
While we mourn his loss, we remain steadfast in our commitment to carry forward his mission. Aurora Recovery Centre will continue to provide the highest standard of care, expanding on the programs and values that Michael championed. Our staff will stand together—strong, focused, and united—in honoring his legacy by serving our clients and their families with the same compassion and dedication he inspired in us.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to Michael’s family, friends, colleagues, and all those whose lives were touched by his kindness and leadership.
May he rest in peace, knowing his life’s work will continue.
