Splish, Splash we had a pool party 🏊
This afternoon we beat the heat and listened to live music with Matthew Hussey poolside🐳
Chef Jason and Chef Maria fired up the wood fired pizza oven and created delicious s’more dessert to top off the afternoon ☀️

Our gardens are full of colour these days 🌺
A few years ago we were lucky enough to be selected by Gateway Centre of Excellence in Rural Health for their Cultivating Memories program where they donated beautiful raised garden beds and each yeah our residents are able to fill them with some of their garden favourites 🌻
Thank you to all our wonderful gardeners who keep the gardens in top condition👩🏻‍🌾

A tropical afternoon filled with colours at the Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory 🦋
We spent the afternoon walking through the tropical forrest taking in all the colours and the many, many butterflies!
One of our guests may have even had a butterfly land on her face and stick around for awhile 🦋

An afternoon of Christmas tunes, festive feasts and the jolly spirit! Even our resident goose Henrietta joined in on the festivities 🪿

A few of the ladies went on a Monday morning road trip to see the sunflowers at Claussen Farms! 🌻
A field full of sun flowers in honour of an employee who got diagnosed with ALS. 🌻
If you are interested in visiting the farm outside of Varna there is a donation box at the field with all proceeds being donated to ALS. Claussen Farms will even match donations up to $2,500. 🌼

A ride fit for a king and queen! 👑
Residents Sue and Nick are Rotary Club of Goderich members and were able to ride on their float for the Goderich Canada Day Parade. 🇨🇦

We are part of the community too! Today our GM learned the art of frying hotdogs and onions during a short shift at Pete’s Hotdog Wagon at the Circle City Cruizers Car Show. The Rotary Club of Goderich runs the hotdog wagon with proceeds supporting community projects. Good to see Mayor Trevor Bazinet there.

Our front planters have come a long way since we first planted them at the beginning spring. Each day there are new blooms and leaves to add more colour to our entryways. 🌺

Thanks to Nicole from Cravings on The Square for providing us with an absolutely delicious tub of ice cream for our ice cream social recently. It’s this kind of neighbourly service that highlights why shopping local is so important, especially during the downtown construction. We see a bus trip to Cravings in our future. 🍦🍦🍦
