I’m back! Sort of…
I have limited availability this week, and then I’m headed to work at a fishing lodge in Bella Coola for a couple weeks.

.rmt is slowly returning to work while her finger heals. During this time she will only be giving Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) massages. MLD is covered under massage for direct billing purposes.

MLD can be particularly beneficial for individuals recovering from surgery, as it helps reduce swelling and speeds up the healing process. It’s also effective for managing lymphedema, a condition characterized by chronic swelling, often in the arms or legs. People with chronic pain, injuries, or conditions like fibromyalgia may find relief through MLD as well. Additionally, those seeking relaxation and stress relief can enjoy the calming effects of this therapy.

This practice is designed to soothe the nervous system through slow, supported restorative poses, intelligent touch from a team of registered massage therapists, and a luxuriously long savasana at the end.
