Why Salt Therapy, Infrared Sauna, Reiki & Massage!?
I have had very successful experiences with all 4 of these treatments and I wanted to share them with my community so that I can try to help improve the quality of other people’s health naturally. I’m extremely passionate about each and every service I offer!
SALT THERAPY:
In 2006 we welcomed a new baby boy in to our lives, we named him Cole! Cole is the reason behind my opening up a salt therapy location in our home town. At 2 he was diagnosed with asthma. Not wanting to give our baby steroids, I looked in to alternative natural methods to help him and we found salt therapy. After 14 sessions in the salt cave, he no longer had symptoms of asthma. I thought it was a miracle and a miracle I welcomed! Then, 10 years later Cole developed seasonal allergies. He went an entire winter suffering, not being able to breath at night. We also noticed his shifts at hockey were very short and he’d miss shifts because he was so winded. The next year it happened again. Salt therapy, why did I not think of salt therapy last year?! So off to the cave we went and after 1 session he could breath again every night! They suggested doing a full 14 sessions in order to address the underlying issues of the allergies. Well by the time Cole was finished his sessions, he could keep up to the rest of the team. Longer shifts and no shifts missed. Again we witnessed this miracle (the miracle was salt!) and knew we had to share our story and provide my community with the same opportunity we had to get heal naturally.
REIKI
After much councelling and my son not improving as much as I’d hope, I discovered Reiki. He was a very sad, angry and guilt ridden child after having experienced 4 major life changing events in 2 short years at such a young age. He went to his Reiki master approximately 6 times and by the end he was a much more peaceful child. There were a lot of pent up emotions stuck inside his body that with regular councelling we just could not get rid of. So sold on Reiki I was!! Again, another miracle for my boy.
Reiki is also very helpful for people who are suffering from physical ailments. Reiki brings relief to your chronic pain and makes you feel better than you have in years. It is an ancient Japanese technique and a form of alternative medicine also sometimes referred to as a "biofield" therapy.
MASSAGE
I worked in the corporate world for 25 years as an Information Technology Manager at Bell Canada and TD Bank. Needless to say sitting at a desk 5-6 days a week for 8-10 hours a day, it took a toll on my body. My back and right arm was in chronic pain for years. Without massage therapy I would have had to resort to medication, which I was not willing to take if not necessary. I depended on massage therapy then and I now use it when I’m feeling a little stressed, or not feeling well. I love how massage therapy helps to fix these issues!
SAUNA
We have a sauna in our home which I use every time I get sick or am getting sick, or maybe have had too much alcohol the night before! Getting rid of toxins through sweating is very beneficial to healing faster!
