Five good options when you need care...
Feeling unwell? If you need support, contact your family doctor or nurse practitioner first. If they are unavailable or you don’t have one, try these options:
✅ Unattached Care Clinics – Call the clinic nearest you
✅ Walk-In Clinics – Check local availability
✅ Virtual Urgent Care – Book online at urgentcareontario.ca
✅ Health811 – Call 811 for free advice from a registered nurse
✅ Local Pharmacy – Visit or call for support
We are pleased to receive provincial funding, which will allow us to add up to 1,600 patients over the next 12 months. Note: We are directed to initially focus on unattached patients on the Health Care Connect list. Learn more here: https://gbachc.ca/expanding-access-our-commitment-to-community-health/

Send a message to Grand Bend Area Community Health Centre:
In 1971, our first medical building was built in Grand Bend on Gill Road with only a small number of doctors, registered nurses and medical office assistants. We adopted the Community Health Centre model in 1999 with the addition of a physiotherapist, health promoter, social worker, dietitian and a diabetes education program.
It was evident that we needed more space, so our Centre moved to its current home at 69 Main Street East in 2004. The newly renovated space in Hensall was opened in 2010 to incorporate teaching into primary care activities.
The Grand Bend and Hensall sites work in collaboration with the Southwest and Erie-St. Clair Local Health Integration Networks, as well as various agencies and services within Lambton and Huron counties. An ongoing partnership with area hospitals allows our Centre to provide the best care and programming possible for our clients, patients and the surrounding community.
