Hope you've all had a great weekend. I hear we're in for another storm tomorrow... if you're like me, snow isn't what I want. I'm more of a sun and sand kind of girl. I wanted to take the time to give you an update on my hours for the holidays. I had planned on being open a couple of days between Christmas and New Year's, but after some thought about how slow that time of year is for routine bloodwork, I decided to remain closed. I could use the little break to reset and refresh my body and mind. Plus, my husband gave me a trip to spend some time with my mom during Christmas, so I'm heading to Toronto on the 26th and returning on January 3rd. I may also be closed on Friday, the 19th of this week. As you know, my little getaway last Friday didn't happen and it turned into the loss of my baby girl Hershey, so I may try for this Friday. I'll keep you posted. I know this time of year isn't all about magic and happiness; it can be very stressful and filled with sadness. I've been feeling it at times too. One day at a time, one moment at a time. We just have to remember what we have and be thankful for it. I'm so very thankful for each and every one of you. You've been a great support when I've needed it, and you've shown me you care. I hope I've shown that to you too.
