Gabrielle Bellefleur, R.Ac 🌿 gbacupuncture.ca I am a registered Acupuncturist located in Hubbards and Bridgewater, NS.

My interest in holistic medicine stems from my curiosity for human health and passion for helping others. This inspired me to move from New Brunswick to Nova Scotia and attend the Canadian College of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, where I received my Diploma in Acupuncture with distinction in clinical excellence. In my practice, I aim to provide a calm, gentle, and caring approach a

ll while holding a safe space where you can feel comfortable sharing your health experience. I combine a variety of treatment methods to address a multitude of conditions using acupuncture, fire cupping, gua sha, and moxibustion.

Dear Valued Patients,

I hope this message finds you well.

It’s with mixed emotions that I write to inform you of the upcoming closure of my practice, as I will be relocating to my hometown of Grand Falls, NB. Effective April 26, 2026, I will no longer be providing services in Bridgewater, NS.

I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude for the trust and support you have placed in me as your acupuncturist. Caring for you and witnessing your growth has truly been an honour, a privilege, and a blessing. I value our relationship greatly and am thankful for your loyalty throughout the years.

My intention is to make this transition as smooth and supportive as possible. You should have received an email last month introducing practitioners whom I have personally met and received treatment from. They share a similar approach to care, and I trust that they will continue to provide the same level of attention, respect, and individualized treatment that you have come to expect from my practice.

If you have any questions about this transition, or if you did not receive the email with practitioner recommendations, please don’t hesitate to reach out at gb.atcm@outlook.com.

As this chapter comes to a close, I wish you continued balance, healing, and peace in the next.

With heartfelt gratitude,
Gabrielle

Happy Chinese New Year 🧧✨

2026 – The Year of the Horse.

A year of movement, courage and forward momentum.
A year to trust your instincts.
To choose freedom over what’s familiar.
To move towards what feels aligned.

The shedding is done.
Now we run.

Wishing you clarity, confidence and the courage to step into what’s next 💜

Plants and animals don’t fight the winter; they don’t pretend it’s not happening and attempt to carry on living the same lives that they lived in the summer. They prepare. They adapt. They perform extraordinary acts of metamorphosis to get them through.
Winter is a time of withdrawing from the world, maximising scant resources, carrying out acts of brutal efficiency and vanishing from sight; but that’s where the transformation occurs.
Winter is not the death of the life cycle, but its crucible. Once we stop wishing it were summer, winter can be a glorious season in which the world takes on a sparse beauty and even the pavements sparkle.
It’s a time for reflection and recuperation, for slow replenishment, for putting your house in order.
Doing those deeply unfashionable things; slowing down, letting your spare time expand, getting enough sleep, resting ...

Can you relate? When you set out to heal….like truly dig into the root cause(s) of your health struggles and address them, it almost always takes longer than you want it to.

Here’s what we want you to remember when you find yourself here:

1) This is normal. Your body is not Amazon Prime. It took years (or maybe decades) to live your way into your current health struggles, so it’s reasonable to assume it will take a significant chunk of time to live your way out of them.

2) It doesn’t mean you’re doing it wrong. It’s usually the rinsing and repeating of the right things consistently that will get results…rather than trying something new every other week because you haven’t magically gotten overnight results.

3) It doesn’t mean you’re missing anything. We are taught to believe, as a society, that the answer is always just outside of our reach. And if we just buy another supplement, try another detox, cut out another food group…we’ll find what we’re looking for. Don’t fall prey to this (very profitable) belief that’s been bestowed upon us as the cornerstone of capitalism. Save your money, save yourself hours of internet deep dives, and look inward instead.

4) It’s okay to acknowledge these feelings (and the mental stories surrounding them) but try to make your way back to a place of neutrality before taking any action. Action driven from a place of frustration/impatience/worry/fear/etc will not yield the result you ultimately want.

IF you’re feeling this way AND you’ve been navigating your health journey alone (without the support and guidance of a trusted health practitioner), THAT may be the thing that needs to change. The quickest, clearest, straightest path to results is through enlisting the help of someone who has walked the path before. Someone who guides people down said path day in and day out.
