This summer, we were able to provide 35 kids with weekly snacks from the After the Bell Program. Overall, 280 snack packs were distributed within 8 weeks! Thank you to Food Banks Canada and its partners for providing this opportunity at our local food bank.

This year Action Ministries partnered with Grand Isle to help get kids ready to go back to school. We were able to provide 35 students (16 households) with school supplies and shoes. Thank you to Grand Isle for partnering with us. Also, thank you to the Lighthouse Church who purchased new backpacks for each of these students. Another thank you goes out to the community for donating money to help purchase the school supplies and shoes. With the need of the program doubling, we are still taking donations. We greatly appreciate it and the generosity of our island does not go unnoticed!

If you need supplies for back to school, this is the week to stock up! ✏️📚

⏰ The front store closes Saturday, August 30 at 5:00 PM and will not reopen until
Tuesday, September 2 at 9:30 AM.

💊 Please make sure you have all your prescriptions and over-the-counter medications prepared in advance of the long weekend. A reminder our dispensary closes on Friday, August 29 at 5:30 PM, re-opening at 9:30 AM on September 2.
