I'am feeling beyond grateful & blessed to have the opportunity to host the sound bath the other evening in our mountain home, truly the hidden gem of the Rockies.

Last Sunday, August 31st, we gathered by the still waters of Victor Lake, and what unfolded was truly transformative.

Together, we raised donations in support of the Grande Cache Transition House, and I cannot thank everyone enough for your generosity, presence, and love. You are the reason this event was so successful, and I am deeply moved by your support.

A very special thank-you goes to Hilda Hallock who began our evening with a powerful Indigenous blessing of gratitude. Her words honored the land, the waters, and the ancestors, reminding us of the deep connection we share with this place and with one another. It set the tone for an evening of healing, presence, and community.

I also want to extend heartfelt gratitude to Grande Cache Search and Rescue for volunteering a member to be onsite. Many don’t realize that this incredible service is entirely volunteer-run and offered free of charge. If someone becomes lost in the Wilmore backcountry or faces an emergency, the RCMP can dispatch Search and Rescue to respond. What a gift to have such dedicated support here in our community.

We are truly blessed to live in a place that not only surrounds us with breathtaking beauty, but also with people and services that embody care, generosity, and connection.

There are GC Training Signs put out down at Victor lake.

As this is a public land use area please be respectful of other.

If you require shade, make sure to bring an umbrella as shade is limited.

There is water access for those wanting to paddle board and enjoy as well as lots of grass areas for sitting or laying down on ur mats.

There is a donation bin that will be setup.

🌊 Sound Bath at Victor Lake – Aug 31 @ 5:30 PM 🌿
Join us for a relaxing outdoor sound bath surrounded by the beauty of Victor Lake. Bring your paddle board, yoga mat, blanket, or chair—whatever keeps you comfy!

There will be an area flagged off.

Please keep in mind this is a public use area, there may be others around that we will be respectful of this as well.

🍵 - Sound bath (keep in mind we will be in a public area there is a possibility of other louder sounds/noises, people ect).

🛟 - GC SAR will be onsite just incase water issues arise.
