While we navigate this cold snap, please be aware of ice buildup on exhaust vents around your home. We are again seeing an increase in carbon monoxide alarms due to blocked vents this time of year.

Carbon monoxide (CO) is a silent, deadly, colorless, odorless gas from incomplete fuel burning (furnaces, cars, grills). Which is dangerous because it displaces oxygen in the blood, causing flu-like symptoms (headache, dizziness, nausea) that can lead to unconsciousness, organ damage, or death, especially in enclosed spaces. Installing CO alarms and ensuring proper ventilation are crucial for a safe home.
