Happy February! 🗓 💕
It’s been a crazy couple of months over here and I finally have some time to share what’s been going on! I’m still here as always! 💃
During our Diabetes awareness month in November from my last post, we’ve had some huge changes in our home! On World Diabetes Day that we were promoting for our nephew who is Type 1 Diabetic, we noticed a change in our sweet daughter Ellie. Later that evening, Ellie was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. 💙 Crazy right? How can this be?... We thought the same thing! We spent a week in the hospital learning our new lifestyle with the amazing paediatric nurses and staff. 🏥
Scared and shocked for the first few weeks have now turned into some much needed rest time and adjustment time... and now Ellie is doing so fantastic! She’s insulin dependent and taking her new lifestyle filled with continuous monitoring, four injections a day, healthy eating and a whole lot more love...like a champ! 💪 She amazes us every single day with her strength and learning at just 5 YEARS OLD! 🙏💕💪
So while the page has been quiet, I’m still here! Stay tuned to see the collaboration I’ve had with some amazing local and Albertan businesses these past few months and Christmas treasures that secretly went out the door last month! 😉 PLUS... Valentine’s Day is right around the corner!
