Had a friend ask me about these I had never seen them. There are lots of choices out there for tourniquets my advice is do some research and train with what you choose. Make sure you are buying from a reputable source and never order online cheap imitations.

UPDATE: The alert has been cancelled. Authorities say the suspect has been apprehended by police. He is now in custody and is no longer considered a threat to the community.

The RCMP has shared more details about the subject of the Dangerous Person Alert issued for northwestern Alberta, between Grande Prairie, Rycroft, and the B.C. border.

The subject, Curtis Halliday, is described as 42 years old, 6'3", 249 pounds with a fair complexion, brown hair, and brown eyes.

Big Mountain update: Grooming operations have begun and Randy will be putting in a LOT of work this week on our beautiful trails.
Please use caution as you may meet the groomer or other wildlife along the trails.
If you don’t have time to make it to Kakwa, just 30 minutes south is a quick half day getaway with warmup shelters along the loops.
With that being said, please NO WHEELED TRAFFIC for the remainder of the winter.

Northwestern Polytechnic says it has acquired a 30,000 square foot facility located at 112 Street and 100 Avenue that will become home to a new Skilled Trades Training Centre. Judging by the address and available real estate, it sounds like the former Hansen Lincoln building, which has largely been vacant since 2020.
