🍽️I've had this conversation a lot lately, and it feels like something we need to honestly talk about. Don't get me wrong. I eat out too. If you knew me in my 20's you know I ate poutine probably 3 times a week.

This is not about shaming anyone, it's about awareness and taking ownership of the habits that affect our health. 🥤

🙅‍♀️We cannot be willing to spend the money and expect supplements, appointments and medication to do the heavy lifting if we are not willing to make some lifestyle shifts along side them. Change does not have to be dramatic, but it has to be intentional.

So here's a gentle challenge: If you are eating out more than twice a week, I encourage you to cut down. Restaurants should be the exception we look forward to, not the convenience we rely on. 💚

If you’re not sure what to bring to the next party, try making these simple Brie pastry bites! They’re flaky, festive, and ridiculously easy to put together—perfect for holiday hosting or a last-minute contribution.

Warm Brie tucked into golden pastry, topped with a little jam or honey… trust me, they disappear fast. 😉 And if you can’t do cow’s dairy, no worries — you can easily swap in goat Brie and they’re just as delicious!

👀Sometimes, we need a little perspective. We read 2 grams of sugar on a label, but what does that actually look like? Here is a picture of 7g and 2 g of sugar....which is a lot.

☕️Most of us are drinking our coffee with a creamer that contains 2-3g of sugar per Tbsp! Which is spiking our blood sugar first thing in the morning. This is going to increase cravings throughout the day, increase inflammation and cortisol, and likely cause a crash in energy.

So what can we do?
#1- Ditch the sugar if possible 🛑
#2- Have some protein, fats, or fiber with your coffee to reduce that glucose spike. 🥚
#3- Move your body so that glucose has a place to be stored💪

If your child has unexplained behavioral issues, headaches, skin rashes, GI issues, etc. Reach out to us. We may be able to help you get to the root cause.

If your child is struggling with behaviour, focus, or hyperactivity, it doesn’t mean they’re a “bad kid,” and it doesn’t automatically mean they have ADHD. Children’s bodies are incredibly sensitive, and sometimes what looks like a behavioural issue is actually a symptom of something deeper.

Things like food sensitivities, nutrient imbalances, and even mold exposure can affect mood, focus, and behaviour in both adults and kids, but especially in little ones whose systems are still developing.

If you’ve ever felt like something is “off” but can’t quite put your finger on it, you’re not alone. Sometimes the root cause is simply hidden.
